The Lawton Food Bank is a Guest-Choice Shopping Environment! When you arrive, please check in at the front desk. Our team will confirm your name and date of birth, and then you’ll be invited to take a seat in the lobby. When it’s your turn, your name will be called aloud and you’ll be guided to begin shopping. You will have approximately 15 minutes to shop using a list tailored to your household size, allowing you to choose the items that best meet your family’s needs. After you finish shopping, a shopping assistant will help bag or box your groceries and then accompany you to your vehicle to load them into the trunk only. (LFB staff and volunteers cannot place items inside the cab of a vehicle.) Once loading is complete, the assistant will return the cart to the building. First-Time Guests: A team member will collect your basic information and provide a short application to complete. You do not need to bring any documentation with you. Special Item Requests: If you are looking for specific items - such as diapers, baby formula, hygiene products, or pet food - please ask! We are happy to provide these items if they are available. Shopping Lists: Each guest receives a shopping list that corresponds to the size of their family to ensure fair and consistent distribution. Return Date: Clients may visit the 1 time each calendar month.
Distribution hours
The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)/Regular distribution is every Monday through Wednesday 10:00am-1:00pm & Thursday 1:00pm-5:30pm. We are CLOSED the last distribution day of the month and all federal holidays Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)/Senior Box is the third Thursday of every month from 10:00am-1:00pm for those on the active list and the following day from 10:00am-1:00pm on a first come first serve basis, for those on the waitlist and new applicants. Produce Pop-In is on the second Friday of the month (March through December) from 10am-1:00pm
