Q: Do I need to let you know if I'm planning a food drive? A: No, but we appreciate knowing so that we may help spread the word.
Q: Are copies of identification accepted? A: Only if they're on the letterhead of a professional organization.
Q. What if my drivers' license has expired? A. We'll still accept it as long as it's been no longer than 90 days past the expiration date.
Q. What if I'm from a different town? A. You are eligible to use the Lawton Food Bank as long as you have an Oklahoma address.
Q. My child is a minor. How do I show ID for them? A. A form of ID for children includes one of the following: a birth certificate, school ID, shot record, social security card, report card, or official documents from DHS, school or doctor office that shows your child's name. As a last resort, you may also bring your child with you.
Q. Can I set up an appointment? A. Yes! We are currently doing appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In order to make an appointment, please message the Lawton Food Bank on Facebook.
Q. Will you be closed for holidays or other events? A. We are closed for federal holidays as well as the last working day of the month for inventory purposes.
Q. I have a group that wants to help. What can we do? A. Just give us a call or email and we will figure out what works best. We can accomodate groups of children, adults, or a mix. We normally scedule one Saturday a month but can also use help with daily distribution and packaging.
Q. Who is eligible for Produce Pop-In? A. Produce Pop-In is self-serve and is intended for our clients and seniors. If you would like to participate, please come by and fill out an application!
