In response to the ongoing government shutdown and the uncertainty surrounding military pay, the Lawton Food Bank will host a special food distribution event for active-duty military and their families on Tuesday, October 15, from 2–4 PM. We believe no one in our community deserves to go hungry. due to the requirement that service members continue to work during the government shutdown, we recognize the need for dedicated military service hours.
