Who We Are

The Lawton Food Bank, founded on August 1, 1985 by Carter and Marilyn Crane, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting hunger in southwest Oklahoma. As a proud partner of the United Way of Southwest Oklahoma and the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, we work every day to ensure no neighbor goes without.
Our mission is simple yet vital: to provide food and essential items to low-income residents in our community. In 2024 alone, we distributed over 1.3 million pounds of food to 43,451 individuals and delivered 216 monthly boxes to prequalified seniors.
When children are out of school—during summers and holidays—demand is at its highest. That’s why we rely on the generosity of our community. Every can of food, every hour volunteered, and every dollar donated makes a real impact. With your support, we can continue building a stronger, healthier community—where dignity is preserved and no one goes hungry.
